There
are two ways to order INABRA grinding wheels:
1) Provide us with the
specifications of the grinding wheel you now use.
The first measurement should refer to wheel diameter,
the second to wheel thickness, and the third to hole
diameter (depending on the shape of the wheel, you
should also include the recess diameter, recess depth,
back thickness, and rim thickness).
2) Allow our
technical department to help you determine the specifications.
For this, we require the following information:
a - grinding wheel measurements
b - grinding wheel rotary speed (RPM)
c - workpiece speed
d - workpiece measurements (for grinding
between centers)
e - workpiece material (if possible,
the chemical composition)
f - grinding machine brand name and
model
g - grinding wheel coolant used
h - workpiece heat treatment and
hardness
i - workpiece surface roughness
j - grinding wheel cutting rate
Once we receive
this information, we will recommend the best grinding
wheel for the job and manufacture the wheel with one
of the following abrasive grains:
A
- brown aluminum oxide, Al2O3 – 95.0%
AA - white aluminum oxide, Al2O3
– 99.7%
AR - aluminum oxide with cobalt,
Al2O3 – 99.8%
RU - aluminum oxide with chromium,
Al2O3 – 99.8%
GC - green silicon carbide
C - black silicon carbide
Bond: vitrified or resinoid
